Westvleteren Blond (excluding glass) This very popular beer is brewed by the monks of the Saint Sixtus Abbey in Westvleteren. The Westvleteren Blond is hard to get because the demand for this beer is large but unfortunately only small-scale brewed.

The Westvleteren Blond is a slightly hazy blond beer with a big frothy head. The beauty of this blond is that three types of local hops have been used during the brewing process. The malty and hoppy aromas quickly invite you to take the first sip. The taste is malty, fruity and strongly bitter.

The dark beers of Westvleteren are very suitable to age for years which will benefit the taste. However the Westvleteren Blond will taste the best when it's fresh.
