The NIX18 campaign is an initiative of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport and a large number of partners ( Koninklijke Horeca Netherlands, KWF Cancer, Lung Fund, Trimbos Institute, NOC * NSF supermarkets united in the Food Retail, GGD Netherlands, GGD,, the Dutch Food Safety Authority and the ministries of Security and Justice and General Affairs ). The aim of the campaign is to strengthen the social norm "do not drink and smoke until your 18th." The campaign focuses on the whole society, in particular the area of youth. It should be normal that young people do not drink or smoke before the age of 18.
